Our Research
The C-CCNE has built on a growing convergence of the physical and biological sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It has further enhanced networks of interactions between outstanding cancer researchers at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and superb chemists, physicists and engineers in the physical science departments at UNC who are deeply enmeshed in current nanotechnology. The five research projects the comprise the C-CCNE are creating and utilizing a variety of nanotechnologies and experimental designs that range from very fundamental research to highly translational efforts that are poised for clinical application.
